the stunning warm weather, Highlands is already in full swing. All of our favorite
boutiques and restaurants are open and as excited as we are for a busy season! The most exciting event in May here at Mitchell’s is planting our Tuberous Begonias! Our Begonias have been here for decades. We can’t tell you how many people jump from their cars to touch them to see if they are real. We even catch the locals driving through the lodge later in the summer just to see and take pictures of them.
We had great winter, but are ready to see what the new season will hold. With all the local attractions ready for business, there is more than enough to do in Highlands.
